South Korea recalls carrots from China with excessive pesticide residues

On March 26, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of South Korea published a message that a South Korean enterprise imported and sold carrots from China (LIANYUNGANG RICH FOODS CO., LTD) with triadimefon exceeding the standard, and ordered it to stop selling and recall the product.
Triadimefon was detected in the product at 0.05 mg/kg. In Korea, the standard for triadimefon in such products should not exceed 0.01 mg/kg.
Recall: Fresh carrots imported by a company in South Korea, manufactured in China, with a production year of 2024.
